Renee, a 49-year old mother finally about to graduate from college has her world turned upside down when she’s diagnosed with breast cancer. A

lesha, 24, single with three children discovers she’s pregnant and faced with a choice.    

Join these and the other women in What Doesn’t Kill Us, Only Makes Us  Stronger, as they share their stories. Stories that exhibit their strength of character, ability to transcend tragedy and transform adversity into unexpected benefits. Stories that may conjure up memories, make you laugh out loud and even leave you in tears. 

All with one goal in mind: promoting healing, empowerment, and the celebration of life. Share the experiences of these women, as their stories validate, and celebrate the undefeatable spirit of the African American woman, her eternal hope, healing, and renewal of being.
